The Institute for Microelectronics, TU Wien is one of the world's leading research institutes where the reliability of circuit components (especially transistors) is extensively investigated. In addition to conventional Si transistors, the behavior SiC devices designed for high-power applications is also at the center of interest. To explain the experimental data measured in the Institute’s Technology Laboratory elaborate models are developed and directly incorporated into the device simulation MinimosNT. To perform computational expensive simulations a modern computer cluster is available at the Institute for Microelectronics. For this position a considerable interest and existing in-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas are advantageous to complement our team:

This three-year position (40 hours/week) is in accordance with the salary regulations of the Austrian Science Fund. The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. and the gross annual salary is approximately EUR 39 400.
