Christoph Lenz started on July 1st as a doctoral student in the HPTCAD team and will investigate investigate efficient algorithms and data structures for semiconductor topography simulations. Christoph received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Technical Mathematics in 2017 and 2019, respectively. Welcome to our team, Christoph!
Alexander Scharinger started on April 1st as a doctoral student in the HPTCAD team and will investigate efficient algorithms and data structures for surface rate calculations, in particular ray tracing and stochastic sampling methods. Alexander received the Bachelor’s degree in Software & Information Engineering and the Master’s degree in Logic and Computation from TU Wien in 2015 and 2018, respectively. Welcome to our team, Alex!
Alexander Toifl starts today as a doctoral student in the HPTCAD team and will investigate high performance modeling and simulation approaches for non-planar epitaxy. Alexander studied electrical engineering at the TU Wien and defended his Master’s thesis on “Modeling and Simulation of Thermal Annealing of Implanted GaN and SiC” (supervised by Vito) in June 2018. Welcome to our team, Alex!
Michael Quell started as a doctoral student in the HPTCAD team on June 4. He will focus on high performance data structures for process TCAD. Welcome to our team!
The HPTCAD continues to grow in 2018. Luiz Felipe Aguinsky joined the HPTCAD team as a doctoral student. He will be working on advanced high performance etching simulations. Welcome to our team!
