Internship (Sponsored) on Developing an XML to FrameMaker Conversion Tool

Documentation of commands for numerical simulation tools often uses an XML-based language because it allows to add context to the documentation. This way the documentation can be used for various purposes (e.g. help in GUIs, syntax highlighting).

Nevertheless, this content has to be converted into a document format as well
which can be included in manuals.  A main document editing
tool is Adobe FrameMaker, a conversion tool has to be developed which will convert the XML command documentation into a Framemaker chapter.

Requirements: GNU/Linux and C++. No physical background is required, only interest in developing engineering software. Interested candidates for this sponsored internship should get in touch with Josef Weinbub via email.
