6.1.3 The Generalized Problem

The set of different problems listed above can be summarized in the following generic problem statement:

   

From a rigorous point of view, this problem is much more generic than it appears to be on the first glance. A tool that solves this generic problem can resolve all of the conflicts and problems listed above. There are still several unspecified properties which will be clarified when the respective implementation issues are examined in more detail.
