6.2.4 Brute-Force Truncation of the Transient

A second possibility to determine tstr   is to skip the first data points during the transient until a specific time tskip   . This method, displayed in Fig. 6.10, is far easier to implement and gives stable results for various values of tskip   . Unfortunately, tskip   has to be adjusted manually for every measurement. Hence, the first method is chosen.
