3.1.1 Types of Experimental Designs

The experimental designs primarily considered are summarized in Table 3.1.

In the following section n is the number of control parameters given to an experimental design. For every control parameter, nominal, minimum and maximum values have to be given. An n dimensional parameter sub space is spanned by these ranges. Optional transformations can be given for every parameter which is described in Section 3.1.17.
