3.5.1 Model Reuse

By means of the network-model already existing models can be utilized to perform different investigations based on the same subject. That means that a library of models can be compiled and used later-on for various tasks in multiple projects. For example, one could imagine a simulation-flow-model producing a MOS device. Several simulation-flow-model might be necessary for the evaluation of a certain technology under various conditions. It would be an overwhelming effort to maintain a separate simulation-flow-model for all these technology snapshots. Instead, model reuse together with default overloading of models reduce this effort dramatically.
