In addition to the well defined abstraction of simulation tools which is accomplished by models described in the previous chapter, there need to be descriptions of the TCAD investigations that are to be performed with these models. This means that abstractions of the TCAD tasks described in are necessary. This chapter outlines SIESTA's experiment abstractions and highlights their features.
