1993 Receives the 'Diplomingenieur' (Master Degree) with honors from the Vienna University of Technology, department of electrical engineering.
1993 Joins the University of Tokyo, Japan, for his doctoral studies.
1995 Continues his doctoral studies at the Institute for Microelectronics at the Vienna University of Technology.
1997 Receives the 'Doktor der technischen Wissenschaften' (Doctor Degree) with honors from the Vienna University of Technology.
