Biography (as of 27-02-1998): Ernst Leitner was born in Gmunden, Austria, in 1968. He studied electrical engineering at the Technische Universität Wien, where he received the degree of Diplomingenieur in 1992. In January 1993 he joined the Institute for Microelectronics. In the autumn of 1994 he held a visiting research position at PHILIPS, Eindhoven, The Netherlands. His work is focused on three-dimensional process simulation, numerical grid generation, and the basic physics of transport phenomena in solids. | ||||
