    FWF Project Funded

    16 November 2022

An FWF project will study the interaction between 2D semiconductors and ambient gas molecules

In this project, the impact of molecular adsorption of common molecules found in the air on the conductive behavior of 2D semiconductors will be studied. The study will involve an interdisciplinary approach, including simulations (ab-initio DFT, Monte Carlo, and drift-diffusion), surface characterization (XPS/STM), and device measurements (gas response/temperature programmed desorption).
