As part of this year's KinderUni Wien , two workshops – Elektronikworkshop and Die "kleine" Bauelemente-Bäckerei - were held at the Institute for Microelectronics on July 10th and July 11th, respectively. The workshops were attended by over 40 kids ranging in age from 7 to 12.

In the  Elektronikworkshop, budding engineers assembled an integrated circuit, placing various components on their own circuit boards and soldering them.

In  Die "kleine" Bauelemente-Bäckerei kids learned about the fabrication of microelectronic devices while baking and enjoying delicious cookies.
