5.4 Boundaries

Boundaries are handled in a similar way to interfaces. However, in the boundary segment there is only one variable available for each solution quantity ($\nu_{C}^{}$). Furthermore the flux over the boundary is handled as another solution variable F_C (e.g., Q_C for Poisson's equation , I_nC for the electron continuity equations, or H_C as the contact heat flow).
