This thesis is dedicated to the implementation and application of the above mentioned ``Algorithm Library'' concepts.
The thesis is organized as follows: Section 2 describes the design and implementation of the Algorithm Library. Section 3 comments the concepts of the MDL language. An application example where the Algorithm Library is used to enhance the functionality of a diffusion simulator is described in Section 4. This example further supported by diffusion modeling examples in Section 5. The thesis concludes with a brief summary of further applications which are already taking advantage of the Algorithm Library in Section 6 and some outlook for future development possibilities in Section 7.
