Command Line Interface

The command line interface of a program is one of the common methods to transfer information to a program. This module adds default command line parameters to the program for the control of the error system and for the help information to the command line options. It supports different data types and distinguishes between required, optional and key parameters. The check for key parameters is case insensitive (similar to VMS) and they are recognized by a leading ``-'' for UNIX and ``/'' or ``-'' for VMS. The command line options are defined by an array of structures in the main program file.
