    Description

ViennaSCDD is an open source Finite Element-based application for calculating the torque acting on the magnetization of multilayered structures composed of ferromagnets, metal spacers and tunnel barriers. It employs a coupled Spin and Charge transport approach as described here. Large part of the source code can also be employed as a library to be included in larger simulations.
