Franco Nori

Dr. Nori received a PhD in Physics in 1987 from the University of Illinois, and then he did postdoctoral research work at the Institute for Theoretical Physics, at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Afterwards, he became Assistant, Associate, full Professor and Research Scientist at the Physics Department of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is a RIKEN Chief Scientist. He leads the Theoretical Quantum Physics Laboratory at the “Cluster for Pioneering Research” in RIKEN (the Japanese National Laboratory), where he has been since 2002.
