Bootstrapping using VMake

VMake itself can be used to bootstrap VMake on a different configuration/target system. Using the command line option configuration to override the default configuration and a specific host/queue definition (see Section 8.5) which enforces compilation on the target system VMake can compile and install itself. Care must be taken during installation because the installation root directory must be reachable from the computer running VMake and the bootstrapped system with the same path. After installing VMake it can be used on the target system as usual by using the correct definition (UNIX or VMS) for running the script.
