4.4.3 Merged PiN Schottky Diodes

As it was pointed out at the beginning of this section, the merged PiN Schottky diodes behave similarly to Schottky diodes in the on-state and with regard to the switching characteristics, and similar to PiN diodes in the reverse characteristics. In this section simulation-based analysis is performed to verify the performance of these diode structure.
