4.2.2.2 Dirichlet Type Boundary Conditions

Dirichlet type boundary conditions (4.9) - (4.10) can be specified for quantities which are not contained in the equation system (4.7) - (4.8). The resulting values of the quantity on both sides of the interface can be functions of the simulation time $t$, the process temperature $T$, the spatial coordinates $x$ and $y$ and the values of all available quantities on both sides of the interface.

$\displaystyle C_{i1}^1$ $\textstyle =$ $\displaystyle f(x,y,t,T,C_{j1}^1,C_{j2}^2), {\quad} i1,j1 = 1 {\dots} N_1$ (4.9)
$\displaystyle C_{i2}^2$ $\textstyle =$ $\displaystyle f(x,y,t,T,C_{j1}^1,C_{j2}^2), {\quad} i2,j2 = 1 {\dots} N_2$ (4.10)
