The NEOS guide is a source of information about optimization algorithms and applications. It also includes an optimization decision tree and an optimization software guide.

The guide is created from the Optimization Technology Center^C1. This center is an enterprise of Argonne National Laboratory^C2 and Northwestern University and was founded in 1994 with support from the U.S. Department of Energy^C3 and Northwestern University^C4.
