3.3.4.3.3 Text Strings.

Data of type string may contain arbitrary characters. This data type is of auxiliary nature and its application is up to the users creativity. However, in some situations ports of type string are useful in conjunction with overloading in the context of network-models (see Section 3.5.2), where strings can be used to create several variants of a simulation-flow-model.
