using the doe experiment (Description 4.5).

One can choose between the types of DOE listed in Table 4.1 by
means of the design entry. The selected type of the DOE
will be performed on the ports selected by free, or ports
which are not denoted by the fixed entry. The
responses entry selects output ports of the model which
will be recorded in the log file. A detailed discussion of
Design of Experiments and their applications in the context of
SIESTA can be found in [60].
