Visiting this website
When you open a page, the web server records your IP address, the date and time, the page you requested, the page you came from, and your browser and operating system in log files. These data are needed to deliver the website and to keep it secure, which is a legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website runs on a server of the Institute for Microelectronics at TU Wien, which keeps these data only as long as these purposes require and then deletes them.
Cookies and external content
This website sets no cookies for visitors and uses no analytics or tracking. Its pages, fonts and images are delivered from its own server. Links to other websites, such as Google Scholar, ORCID, GitHub or publishers, transfer data to those websites only when you click them, and their own privacy policies apply.
If you write to the laboratory by email, its members use your address and message only to answer you and keep them as long as the correspondence requires. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR when your message concerns a collaboration. Email to the laboratory is handled by the mail system of TU Wien.
