Biography:
Ivan Starkov was born in Leningrad in 1983. He studied physics at the State University of St.Petersburg, Russia, where he received the MSc degree in physics in 2007 (his work is devoted to the field of the point source in the two-layered periodic structures). He joined the Institute for Microelectronics in January 2009, where he worked on his PhD thesis and recieved his doctoral degree in 2013. His scientific interests include hot-carrier reliability issues, Monte Carlo simulations, device modeling in general as well as the Green's function formalism in the condensed matter physics.
