5. Building Simulation Models

The handling of the flow of simulation tools involved in a given modeling problem is crucial to both, the usability of the environment, and the performance of its simulations in terms of overall computation time. SIESTA's models offer as much modeling freedom as possible and furthermore implement efficient mechanisms for their own evaluation. This chapter goes into more detail about features of simulation-flow-models and how they can be used in concert with network-models in order to perform TCAD simulations efficiently.
