As part of the this year's KinderUni Wien two workshops: Elektronikworkshop and  Die "kleine" Bauelemente-Bäckerei took place on July 11th and July 13th, respectively, at the Institute for Microelectronics. The workshops were attended by over 50 kids ranging in age from 7 to 12.

In the Elektronikworkshop the kids build a simple electronic circuit. They placed various components on their own circuit board and solder them.

In  Die "kleine" Bauelemente-Bäckerei kids learned about the fabrication of microelectronic devices while baking and eating cookies.
