On November 5th our colleague Vito Šimonka successfully defended his dissertation. Vito’s PhD work has been developed in the framework of the Christian Doppler Laboratory for High Performance Technology Computer-Aided Design (HPTCAD) project which is jointly funded by the Christian Doppler Research Association and by our partner company Silvaco, Inc. Because of the successful cooperation, Vito has joined Silvaco’s team starting November 1st, located at Silvaco’s office in Vienna. As he decided to continue his career in industry we congratulate and wish him all the best for the future!
