We are proud to announce that Prof. Siegfried Selberherr has been elected Fellow of the prestigious Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA).

The AAIA is an academic, non-profit and non-governmental organization consisting of more than 400 academicians worldwide. The main mission of the AAIA is to strengthen scientists in the field of AI worldwide in order to promote the development and application of AI through academic research, academic exchanges, science education, science exhibitions, academic conferences, academic publications, summer/winter camps, and more.

With this distinction, Prof. Selberherr becomes the third Austrian AAIA Fellow, next to Georg Brasseur (ÖAW, Emeritus  TU Graz), and Schahram Dustar (TU Wien, Informatics).
