Biography (as of 30-06-1992): Peter Grubmaier was born in Scheibbs, Austria, in 1961. While studying Control Engineering and Industrial Electronics at the Technische Universität Wien, he held various vacation jobs at local firms. He also worked as a student assistant at the Institut für Nachrichtentechnik und Hochfrequenztechnik, where he was concerned with multicarrier data transmission. After having received the degree of Diplomingenieur in March 1991, he joined the Institute for Microelectronics in May 1991. His interests lie in the fields of MODFETs and semiconductor physics in general. | |||||||
