Andreas Eichhorn received his BSc degree in physics and his Diplomingenieur in computational science and engineering from TU Wien. His diploma thesis was focused on the origins of superconductivity in the Hubbard model and its relation to the pseudogap regime in cuprates and nickelates. Andreas joined the Institute for Microelectronics in April 2026, working on ab-initio modeling of boron diffusion in SiGe alloys.
