Franz Fehringer was born in 1983 in Steyr, Austria and received his Bachelor degree in electrical engineering at TU Wien in 2018. After working several years as engineer in a solar inverter company, he started his masters degree in material science 2021. Right now he is working on his master thesis focusing on the ab initio simulation of oxide defects in semiconductor devices.
