Robert Stella was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1999. He received his Master’s degree in Microelectronics and Photonics from TU Wien with distinction in 2026. In May 2026, he joined the Institute for Microelectronics as a PhD candidate. His research focuses on atomistic simulations of semiconductor manufacturing processes, with an emphasis on molecular dynamics. Based on the gained atomistic insights, he develops and enhances surface models in ViennaPS for novel etching and deposition processes used in semiconductor fabrication.
