The Long Night of Research takes place every two years all across Austria. As a regular participant, the Institute for Microelectronics was at the event once again this year, which was held at TU Wien’s Science Center. The LNF allows us to impart our findings to the broad public and to introduce them to the exciting research performed at the IuE. This year, the visitors were able to visualize the atomistic composition of semiconductors in virtual reality, build a 3D-printed MOSFET, and build their own graphite gas sensor.
